Student Leadership
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." - John Quincy Adams.
At Merstham Park School, our students are great inspirations to each other, the staff and the local community. Student leadership at MPS is encouraged in many aspects of school life, in supporting each other in lessons, encouraging positive actions around the school site, being a Subject Student Ambassador and being on the Student Leadership Council to name a few.
The Student Leadership Council comprises a student elected Head and Deputy Head Boy and Girl, a Student Council Leader and two representatives from each Learning Group.
The SLC’s job is to:
-
Be a Student Voice - contribute ideas that have a genuine effect on school policies
