Healthcare at MPS

The secondary school age immunisation programme consists of :

The HPV vaccinations  – Human Papilloma Virus .

This is offered to year 8 girls and boys and is a two dose programme. This means that students receive their first dose in September of year 8 and their second in May or June of year 8.

The FSB – Final School Booster vaccinations

This is currently offered to boys and girls in school year 9. This is two injections, one in each arm comprising of Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio in one vaccination  and The Meningitis ACWY in the other vaccination.

These vaccinations will be offered to all eligible MPS students and consent from parents and carers will be required.
