Year 7 Admissions for September 2027 - It's not too late to apply

The closing date for on-time applications for secondary schools was 31 October 2026.

All applications should be submitted apply by the closing date.  However, if there is a genuine reason for a late application that means you could not reasonably have applied before the closing date, supported by written details and evidence, Surrey Admissions will treat application as on time only if the details reach them by 7 December 2026.

After 7 December 2026

All applications received after 7 December 2026 will be treated as late applications and only considered after all on-time applications have been processed. It is likely that there will be no vacancies at the school(s) you applied for, as these will have been allocated to those applying on time. However, if there are vacancies,Surrey Admissions will co-ordinate offers of places to these schools for late applicants, based on each school's admission criteria. If there are no vacancies your child may be placed on the waiting list for the school(s) you have applied for.
