GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

UKMT Maths Challenge

On Tuesday, March 25th, Ayan Elija, Isabelle and Anshu embarked on an exciting journey to Wilson's School to take part in the prestigious UKMT Team Maths Challenge. This highly competitive event brought together talented students from across the region, and the challenge consisted of four demanding rounds designed to test both problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Throughout the day, the team worked collaboratively, demonstrating excellent communication, critical thinking, and resilience under pressure. They tackled complex problems with determination and showed impressive focus, representing the school with great pride and enthusiasm.

After an intense competition, the team secured a well-deserved 9th place out of 20 competing teams, many of which were from renowned private schools. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment the students put into their preparation, as well as their ability to perform at a high level in a challenging environment.


A huge congratulations to Ayan, Elijah, Isabelle, and Anshu for their outstanding performance. Well done, team, and we are incredibly proud of your accomplishments!
