GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
Our Year 7 students enjoyed an unforgettable school trip to the Tower of London yesterday, where they participated in an engaging Norman Conquest session led by a costumed Norman re-enactor. They also explored the 1,000-year-old castle and marvelled at the dazzling Crown Jewels. Staff praised the students for their impeccable behaviour, both during the activities and on the train journey there and back.
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
