National Poetry Day Guinness World Record Attempt

Today, MPS celebrated National Poetry Day by taking part in a Guinness World Record Attempt! In a rare opportunity, we joined published poet Laura Mucha and thousands of other students across the country to attempt to break the record for ‘Largest Poetry Lesson taught across multiple venues'. Our students in Year 7 joined more than two hundred thousand 7-12 year olds and wrote a collaborative poem about 'what counts?'. It will be displayed all over the country in various ways, so keep your eyes peeled. #collaboration #inclusion #respect #success
