Young Carers Day

This week, MPS has been raising awareness for Young Carers Week!  We were lucky enough to have a representative from Surrey Young Carers come into school and meet with the students during a lunchtime this week.  All of our students have been delivered an assembly from Young Carers this week, explaining a little more about how the organisation supports young people.  Young Carers are young people who have caring roles for family members or friends with physical or mental health problems or disabilities, or drug or alcohol problems.   If you feel that your family is affected by any of these issues, and you and your son/daughter would like support, please contact your child’s Head of Year at school so that we can arrange to talk.
