GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

The Bletchingley Road Rubbish Busters

We are so very proud of all our students, especially when they demonstrate the school values in our community. During lockdown, Leighton, Esme and Thomas collaborated with a group of their friends and set up a group called the Bletchingley Road Rubbish Busters with the aim of keeping the streets of Merstham and Bletchingley clear of rubbish.

Last week, this work was rewarded by the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill. The Bletchingley Road Rubbish Busters were invited to be formally thanked for all that they do in and around Merstham. They had a wonderful time with the Mayor and were a real credit to MPS.
