National Gallery Trip
On Monday 11 November and Thursday 14 November, our Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to visit the National Gallery in London. The trips, which aimed to immerse students in the world of art and culture, were a huge success—despite a few hiccups with the trains!
Throughout the visits, our students had the chance to see some of the most iconic works of art from renowned artists such as Van Gogh, Turner and Constable. The exhibits sparked great conversations and inspired creativity as the students explored the gallery’s vast collection.
Although the train journey posed a bit of a challenge, the students showed fantastic resilience and excellent behaviour, representing the school with pride. Teachers and staff praised the students' enthusiasm and curiosity as they engaged with the artwork and absorbed the rich history on display.
A huge thank you to all the staff involved—your support and dedication helped make these trips a memorable and enjoyable experience for all. We're proud of how our students behaved and hope they return with a newfound appreciation for the world of art!
