History GCSE students visit Elizabethan and Victorian London
Our History GCSE students have been on two exciting trips already this term. Our Year 10 students delved into medical history at the Old Operating Theatre and experienced the stark realities of Victorian surgery with 2 students agreeing to be operated on. They then explored Borough Market, tracing centuries of cultural and economic evolution. This immersive journey left them with a deeper understanding of history's profound impact on our world.
Our Year 11 students did not miss out on the fun and embarked on a captivating journey through Elizabethan England during their trip to London. The day began with a bespoke session at the Tower of London, followed by a stroll through Borough Market, and concluded with a thrilling visit to the London Bridge Experience. Immersed in history and adventure, the students returned enriched and inspired by the vibrant tapestry of Elizabethan London.
