GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Send My Friend to School

Merstham Park School is delighted to announce that Mariya (9M) and Olivia (10P), with the guidance of Miss Scholz, have been selected from a pool of students across the country to be Campaign Champions for the activist group Send my Friend School.

They went through a rigourous interview process and really wowed the campaign leaders, and were the only students to be selected from Surrey. 

Send my Friend to School is an activism group that has the goal to promote access to education across the world. Mariya and Olivia will have the chance to run campaigns in school and in the wider community; go to Parliament and speak to MPs about why access to education is everyone's issue; and will be able to go to the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool. 

We are incredibly proud of their achievement.
