Celebration Evening 2020-2021

Celebration Evening

On the Wednesday evening before half term, we welcomed students, parents, staff and The Worshipful, The Mayor of Reigate and Banstead to our Celebration Evening which was held at Lime Tree Primary School. Refreshments were served by members of our School Council.  Our special guest was Mrs Anne Usher, MBE.  As a Gold Medal winning Paralympian, Anne inspired us all with her incredible story of resilience, determination and about being your best in everything you do.

It was wonderful to be able to come together to praise and celebrate the effort and progress of our students during 2020-2021.  Special awards were also presented to Faye Stothart whose mum and sister came to collect the Friends of MPS Community Award on Faye’s behalf; and the Mr Beard ‘Be Your Best’ Awards which were presented by Mr Garner to Jonathan Paul and Amber Dickson who have both demonstrated our MPS Values consistently throughout 2020-2021.  Congratulations to all of our students and especially to our winners.

Special thanks go to Libby-May MacKenzie who played the piano so beautifully as our guests were taking their seats, to Njeri Njenga and Tori-Ave Lawrence who sang ‘This is Me’ so exquisitely and to the MPS Dance Club: Isabel Carter, Nicole Greenfield, Eden May, Njeri Njenga, Roshni Patel and Libby Ritchie led by Miss Gibbons and accompanied by Miss Stocks, who performed so gracefully.
