GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Huge congratulations to Finley in 8M who took part in the Vienna Marathon on Sunday 23 April 2023.  It was a beautiful day in Austria, and despite the weather being 25 degrees, Finn ran the last 11.5km leg of the Relay Marathon in just 48.2 minutes. His team completed the marathon in 3 hours and 14 minutes and were 35th out of 3062 teams.

Also running last Sunday, but in very different weather conditions, were Mr Porter and Mr Garner who both completed the London Marathon, running for charities close to their hearts.
