GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

On Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 June, we welcomed our new Year 7s to Merstham Park.  Mrs Cronin, Mrs Cole, Mr Holloway and Mr Ward met them at the gate at 9.30 a.m. before they all settled down and engaged in lessons for the rest of the day.  

Our new Year 7s were split into the six Learning Mentor groups that we will have next year (Buckland, Earlswood, Gatton, Mercers, Nutfield and Priory) which enabled them to meet their classmates as well as their Learning Mentors.  

The day was a great success - we can’t wait to see our new Year 7s again in September.
