GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 10 East Surrey Taster Day

On Monday 27 June, a large proportion of our Year 10 students had a Taster Day at East Surrey College.  MPS is a feeder school to East Surrey and Reigate College and as long as students achieve the required exam results next summer, they will be moving onto one of these establishments.

The Taster Day was designed to encourage our Year 10s to think about what they might want to study and learn about after their GCSEs, and also to  inspire and enthuse them. East Surrey College did not disappoint.

Our students experienced a wide variety of courses, including Bricklaying, Motor Vehicles (Mechanics), Hairdressing and Photography.

They all really enjoyed their day and we hope that this will inspire them to achieve their very best in their GCSEs next year.

Thank you to East Surrey for putting on a fantastic Taster Day for our students.

The next Taster Day for our Year 10s will be on Monday 11 July at Reigate College.
