GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

World Book Day 2022

MPS celebrated the magic of books and reading in style today with every member of staff dressing up as a character for the students to match to a book. However, one day to celebrate books is not enough for MPS! We are all passionate about reading and want to ensure that our students have a life-long habit of reading from pleasure. In every subject this week, World Book Day has been referenced and celebrated, with students taking part in activities such as chocolate making; interviewing Emma Carroll, who wrote 'The Week at World's End'; and studying the illustrations of Quentin Blake.
