This is a fantastic opportunity to visit a university campus and to work with a Maths specialist who will show the students subject-specific exam techniques and how to tackle GCSE exam questions. The workshops are designed to build confidence and support attainment, to help students with their upcoming GCSEs. We would encourage all selected students to attend this opportunity as they have been specifically chosen by their Maths teachers to support with their studies
Students are required to attend the trip in full school uniform with a waterproof coat. Students will have lunch provided by the University of Surrey so there is no need to bring a packed lunch. Please ensure they bring a water bottle, snacks may also be brought for the day, please remember usual school rules apply - no nuts or fizzy drinks.
