This session forms part of our local history study and will give students the opportunity to explore how Merstham was affected during the First and Second World Wars. The talk will be delivered by local historians and aims to deepen students’ knowledge of the community’s heritage and its significance during these key periods of British history.
Students are required to be in full school uniform. As we will be walking to and from the venue, students must bring a coat in case of rain. Students do not need to bring a packed lunch, as they will be back on site before break time. A water bottle is recommended.
